Calvary Tremont Missionary Baptist
Church seeks to build Christian commitment in youth by providing a friendly and open atmosphere for young people to study the Holy Scripture, develop Christian friends and education, and serve others in Christ's name by applying
their knowledge and faith to their daily lives.
CHILDRENS CHURCH
Childrens Church is a service for children between the ages of 5 through 12. Under the direction of Rev.William Birtha and Sis.
Joy Sterling the children read scripture, sing songs and have prayers, as well as play games, do crafts and go on field trips. Services are held the third and fourth Sunday of each month, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
JUNIOR USHER BOARD
The Junior Usher Board Is under the direction of Sis. Rose Robinson. The youth are taught and trained in the importance of welcoming and assisting everyone who comes to the church, as well as
to provide order in the House of God. Rehearsal is held the second Saturday of each month at 11 a.m.
YOUTH CHOIR
Youth Choir Director, Sis. Brenda Bowman encourages and instructs the youth
in singing and spreading the "Good News" of Jesus Christ. Rehearsals are held the first and second Saturday of each month. The youth sing on the third Sunday of every month.
CHILDREN'S BAND
Children's Band is a ministry that prepares children in the church for various positions in the ministry. It's mission is to teach Christian wisdom and worship and to build a strong relationship with Jesus
Christ. Sis. Barbara Greathouse and Sis. Bertha Pierce oversee this ministry.
MIME MINISTRY
Minister Debra Hudson instructs and guides young people in praise to the Lord through mime
expressions. Her mission is to give the youth another outlet by expressing their love and appreciation to the Lord. Rehearsals are held Tuesday evenings at 6:45p.m.
